At HFG, we believe that the journey of each new team member is unique and worth celebrating. In our latest blog series, 'My Time at HFG’, we sit down with our new colleagues to reflect on their first few months with us.

From insights into their experience to career growth and the challenges they've faced, this series offers a look into life at HFG. Get to know the people behind the scenes!

First up is Pavan (Tyler) Taak, an Associate Consultant within our Change & Technology team who has been with HFG since December 2022.

'Life at HFG has been welcoming and friendly. The office space provides a great blend of fast paced work and social interaction with peers, that makes every day enjoyable. Working within the Technology and Change sector has provided me with the invaluable opportunity to meet with clients and candidates from all over the industry. With this, I have been able to better understand how the industry and its inhabitants operate on a day-to-day basis. These have been some of my most enjoyable meetings and have allowed me to express my inquisitive personality, questioning clients and candidates wherever possible in order to build a better understanding of my sector.

A challenging but vital part of the role is understanding how to plan time spent on roles and being able to navigate between working on various positions with different clients. My team members Perry and Rory have provided me with lots of advice and feedback to help aid my first few months at HFG and having them alongside me helps me improve on a day-to-day basis creating good habits along the way.

Out of hours, the social events have been great fun and provide the perfect opportunity to get to know everyone outside of their work life, in a relaxed environment. I am looking forward to the upcoming events this year, particularly the summer ones which are on the horizon!

I am looking forward to what the future has in store here at HFG and can’t wait to tackle new challenges which will benefit me in the long term.'
