This morning, HFG were proud to sponsor Insurance Insider’s sold-out Insider Progress event – a brilliant forum dedicated to driving greater diversity and inclusion across the (re)insurance market.

The event brought together industry leaders, advocates and professionals from across the market to discuss how we can collectively create more equitable opportunities and open doors to a wider range of talent.

Two key panel discussions explored:

- Mentorship and support for career returnees
- Recruitment, returnships and strategies for second-career professionals

Our Managing Director, William Gallimore joined the second panel to share his perspective on how firms can widen talent pipelines and strengthen our industry by embracing diverse career journeys. He highlighted how the recruitment process plays a vital role in enabling returners and those transitioning from other sectors to thrive in insurance, bringing with them fresh perspectives and valuable experience.
