A global Insurance leader with a top tier presence in the London Market is looking for an Senior FP&A Accountant TO lead and manage the analysis and reporting of the IFRS 17 group result and to explain the Group's performance on an IFRS17 basis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare IFRS17 analysis and provide explanation for internal and external IFRS17 reporting.
• Understand and report on the key drivers of the IFRS4 to IFRS17 reconciliations for both the Income Statement and Balance Sheet
• Present the IFRS17 result to various internal bodies.
• Prepare any regulatory submissions (UK and overseas) on an IFRS17 basis that may be required from time to time.
• Prepare any entity-specific IFRS17 analysis and explanations that may be required from time to time
• Monitoring financial performance against identified benchmarks.
• Involvement in ad hoc projects where necessary, including leading them where appropriate.
• Management and development of expense MI (monthly /quarterly) for inclusion in materials for Boards, executive management, committees and parent company

The successful candidate for this Senior FP&&A Accountant role will need to be a qualified Accountant with Insurance market background, preferably Lloyd's. Strong communication skills essential. Prior IFRS 17 experience is required.
