New Vacancy - Delegated Authority Technician
City of London / Hybrid

I am currently partnered with a growing London Market MGA who are looking to add a Delegated Authority Technician to their team.

This would be working alongside claims so will offer exposure to Claims and Underwriting and they need someone with a general DA background.

Key Responsibilities

  • Aid the DA Manager in successfully implementing and integrating the DA governance framework into the business.
  • Conduct necessary DA checks on all Delegated Authority agreements throughout their lifespan. This responsibility requires close collaboration with various business stakeholders/teams and external brokers.
  • Manage and produce regular binder bordereaux within specified deadlines for distribution to Capacity Providers and other relevant parties. This duty necessitates close coordination with the Claims, Finance, Credit Control, and Risk/Compliance Teams.
  • Track and monitor the quality and timely receipt of bordereaux owed from third parties, if applicable.
  • Perform quality checks, analysis, and reconciliation of binder bordereaux, Quota Share Treaty statements, and similar documents as needed.
  • Assist in providing comprehensive visibility of all outstanding incoming/outgoing binder bordereaux and Quota Share Treaty Statements for all DA agreements and report to the Delegated Authority Group accordingly.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for internal and external inquiries regarding bordereaux and Quota Share Treaty reporting.
  • Verify, question, and rectify any incorrect DA policy records in the Policy Admin System (PAS).
  • Ensure proper and accurate production and storage of all files, placements, and insurance documentation.
