The role


Responsible for the end-to-end processing and investigation of claims, ensuring all claims are valid, accurately processed, and settled within agreed timescales. Provides clear guidance and advice to clients throughout the claims lifecycle.

Key Accountabilities

  • Review, analyse, and manage the production of claims statistics, including Earned to Incurred and triangulation reports.

  • Assess and advise the business on territory and/or product-related issues impacting performance.

  • Deliver detailed claims analytics, including trend analysis, policy issue identification, and demographic studies.

  • Review claims authority levels to ensure they are appropriate and aligned with business requirements.

  • Monitor claims service performance proactively, challenging where necessary to ensure high levels of client satisfaction and delivery of value-added services.

  • Oversee cash flow processes, identifying and escalating any potential concerns.

  • Manage relationships with service providers, ensuring agreed service levels are consistently met.

  • Take a proactive approach by understanding wider business impacts, anticipating potential issues, and implementing effective resolutions to maintain service delivery within agreed SLAs.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with markets and clients, collaborating closely with colleagues to deliver optimal client outcomes.

  • Actively contribute to a positive, inclusive, and collaborative team environment that encourages open communication.

  • Provide guidance and share technical claims expertise and knowledge with team members.

Skills & Knowledge

  • Strong knowledge of the (re)insurance market to effectively address client and technical issues.

  • Proven experience in producing, analysing, and reporting statistical claims data to clients.

  • Strong technical claims experience within this field.
