A London market insurance business are looking for a Technical Accountant to be support cash and debt activities as a whole and is a link between both the onshore and offshore cash as well as credit control and underwriting support.

Some of the day to day responsibilities will include:

• Processing broker remittance and allocating payments
• Technical analysis of complex risks through the use of slips, endorsements, reports and/or other relevant documentation
• Administers accurate and timely logging of data onto the relevant system
• Investigate complex cash and debt related items outstanding due to technical accounting issues that are now aged.
• Month end processing of payments due to carriers
• Assisting with the audit queries
• Regularly meet and have open dialogue with internal customers

The successful candidate for this Technical Accountant will need experience in working in the accounting function in the insurance industry with cash management exposure. The candidate must also have experience with Xchanging system.
