We are working with a leading UK insurer to find them a Senior Validation Actuary. This is a high-profile second line of defence role, reporting into the Risk Actuarial Director and playing a key part in shaping model risk oversight and governance.

• Leading independent validation of the Internal Model and Standard Formula

• Producing the annual validation report for Board sign-off

• Developing and maintaining model governance frameworks and validation policies

• Advising Executive Management and engaging with the regulator

• Supporting and developing a small team of actuaries and analysts

This is an excellent opportunity for a senior actuary, with strong technical knowledge of capital modelling and internal model validation, who is also a confident communicator at a senior level, to step into a strategic, visible role with wide-reaching influence across risk, actuarial, and regulatory domains.
