Job description

A specialist Insurance firm is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager to lead the implementation of their Operational Resilience Framework in line with PRA and FCA regulatory requirements. This role is critical in embedding operational resilience across the business, ensuring that important business services are mapped, tested, and aligned with regulatory expectations ahead of key compliance deadlines. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver the firm's resilience programme, including service mapping, impact tolerance validation, and scenario testing.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have proven experience delivering Operational Resilience programmes within financial services, preferably insurance.
  • Have deep understanding of UK regulatory frameworks: PRA SS1/21, FCA PS21/3.
  • Have hands-on experience in leading mapping exercises, scenario testing, and operational readiness assessments.
  • Strong project/programme management skills - able to manage complex delivery timelines.
  • Confident communicator with experience engaging senior stakeholders, boards, and regulators.
  • Solid understanding of related disciplines: Business Continuity management, IT Disaster Recovery, cyber security and incident response and Third-Party Risk.
  • Familiarity with GRC/resilience tools (e.g., Fusion, Archer, ServiceNow) is beneficial.
  • Professional certifications (e.g., CBCI, ISO 22301, IRM, PRINCE2) desirable.
