IBA Credit Controller | FTC

HFG are working with a global insurance brokerage who are looking for an experienced IBA Credit Controller to join its team in the City. This is a hands-on role where you will take ownership of a portfolio of international client accounts, ensuring accurate premium processing, debt management, and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage allocated client accounts and proactively resolve issues
• Run and issue statements, chase overdue balances, and handle aged debt queries
• Investigate and resolve unmatched cash, funding queries, and legacy account issues
• Work closely with premium processing teams to ensure smooth operations
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with internal procedures
• Accurate calculation of pro-rata premiums from slips and endorsements

Skills & Experience Required:

• Strong experience in premium processing within an IBA team (client-facing)
• Strong knowledge of client account handling, debt chasing, unmatched cash resolution, and funding processes
• Marine insurance knowledge (essential) and the ability to calculate premiums from slips/endorsements
• Brokasure Desktop experience preferable
