City of London | Hybrid
Lloyd's Insurer
I am currently recruiting for a growing Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking an Assistant Underwriter to join their Trade Credit and Political Risk team.
This is a great role for an experienced Underwriting Assistant (3+ years) or an Assistant Underwriter looking for a new challenge. It is more focused towards Trade Credit rather than Political Risk so someone with strong TC experience is desired.

 - Ensure accurate input of risks into the underwriting system.
 - Enter policy aggregate information into relevant software and spreadsheets as needed.
 - Copy/scan risk information when requested.
 - Maintain and update records and files for the MGA and Reinsurer.
 - Communicate with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and Lloyds as needed.

 - Support in monitoring and controlling business operations as directed.
 - Help Underwriters fulfill their responsibilities and ensure smooth business operation.
 - Provide ad hoc figures and statistics reports to the Underwriter.
 - Keep underwriting records accurate and organized.
