We are partnering with a prominent general insurance group to appoint an Underwriting and Pricing Risk Manager within their Group Risk & Compliance team. This newly established role reports directly to the Head of Financial Risk and is central to strengthening second-line oversight of underwriting and pricing activities. The role places particular emphasis on enhancing model risk management practices and contributing to the effective execution of the ORSA framework. Responsibilities include but are not limited too:

• Delivering independent second-line oversight of underwriting and pricing risks through activities such as deep dive assessments, updates to risk policies and analysis of risk incidents.

• Applying the enterprise Risk Management Framework to identify, evaluate and monitor material risks within underwriting and pricing operations

• Supporting the design, coordination and implementation of group-wide ORSA submissions and associated stress testing exercise.

• Driving the integration and governance of the Group's Model Risk Management Framework, particularly in relation to pricing and underwriting models.

• Collaborating with Finance and Actuarial teams to oversee and assess the risk dimensions of reinsurance and investment strategies.

• Actively participating in governance bodies including Underwriting and Pricing Committees.
