We have partnered with a global leading business to help them find a "buy side" M&A Actuary in either their Bermuda or London offices. This is a great opportunity to get exposure to the exciting area of insurance M&A while providing actuarial input on Reserves/Capital and offer pricing. The role includes:

• Reporting directly into the Chief Pricing Actuary and playing a pivotal role in deal selection.
• Supporting the business through taking a lead on Actuarial assessment on reserves/capital and providing the M&A team with financial analysis, pricing, structuring and coordinating due diligence talks on transactions.
• Leading the communication between the business and vendor actuaries/claims personnel.
• Input into effective pricing of transactions and presenting findings/opinions to senior members of the business including up to the board.
• Where some kind of M&A experience would be helpful our client would also look at a highly commercial Reserving Actuary the understands the "bigger picture".

The idea candidate will have M&A experience in a GI position, looking for their next step.
