New Vacancy - Senior Claims Adjuster | Financial Lines

HFG are currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their FINPRO team.

They are looking for an experienced Senior Claims Professional with 15+ years market experience handling Financial Lines Claims, specifically FI and D&O but also PI and Cyber.

Key Responsibilities

• Handling PI, FI, D&O and Cyber claims from a London Market perspective.
• Taking proactive steps to handle a variety of FINPRO claims, managing the entire process from initial advice to final resolution. This includes conducting thorough investigations into coverage, liability, financial damages, and strategic considerations.
• Consistently adhering to the appropriate claims reserving philosophy and standards, and referring any necessary cases to higher authorities.
• Closely collaborating with relevant stakeholders throughout the entire claims process, such as policyholders, brokers, co-insurers, actuaries, and underwriters.
• Ensuring compliance with best practices, service standards, and effective communication through regular system reporting and internal file audits.
• Following the approved Panel list and providing guidance to external lawyers and adjusters when needed.
• Working alongside underwriters and business development managers to promote positive work practices and foster strong relationships with clients.
• Maintaining well-organised files and record-keeping practices.
• Assisting the Claims Manager and Head of FINPRO as required.
