Job Title: Marine Placement Broker - Insurance and reinsurance

Location: London/Hybrid - 2+ days in office per week

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Type: Full time - Permanent

Required:

· Experienced Marine Broker in any of the Marine LOBs - Cargo, H&M, P&T, Liabilities, Yachts etc…

· Ability to work in the London office at least 2+ days / week

Main Responsibilities:

· Client Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with shipowners, charterers, logistics firms, and marine insurers. Understand client's operations, exposures, and risk profiles.

· Placement & Negotiation:

Prepare market presentations and negotiate terms, conditions, and premiums with Lloyd's syndicates and company market underwriters to achieve optimal cover for clients.

· Policy Administration:

Draft and check slips, endorsements, and policy documentation in accordance with Lloyd's requirements and internal procedures.

· Claims Support:

Liaise with claims teams and underwriters to assist clients with marine losses and ensure timely resolution.

· Market Insight & Development:

Keep up to date with global marine market trends, regulatory changes, and emerging risks (e.g., cyber threats to shipping, sanctions, environmental regulations).

· Collaboration:

Work closely with internal teams (technical support, account handlers, analytics, and claims) to deliver a seamless client service.
