A specialist London Market (re)insurance business showing significant growth and change to it's group structure is looking for an experienced leader for a newly created Head of Reporting vacancy. In this role you will:

• Deliver high-quality, accurate and timely Group consolidated monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, statutory and regulatory reporting deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders in compliance with UKGAAP & IFRS 17 regulatory guidance.
• Develop IFRS management reporting in the Group.
• Oversee the financial reporting of the Group's MGA and Reinsurance entities (including Lloyd's Syndicate, managed by third party managing agent) and effectively report to senior internal and external stakeholders, including the Group Board.
• Responsible for managing the annual audits of Group entities and liaising with external auditors.
• Maintain and enhance the financial control environment with regards to Group reporting activities and the broader financial control framework.
• Manage, develop and mentor members of the reporting team in London
• Assist in the preparation of financial information for consumption by external parties such as Rating Agencies, Investors and other senior stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement by leading initiatives to optimise the reporting process.

The ideal candidate will have significant post-qualification experience gained in a non-life Insurance business. You will need to have a good grasp of IFRS 17 reporting and have proven leadership qualities as well as a hands on approach.
