Job description
Conduct thorough assessments of complex North American Property claims across Open Market and Binding Authority business.
Manage a high caseload of claims, investigating and analysing details to correctly apply policy coverage. Accurately reserve claims in line with company standards, proactively negotiate and settle cases, and consistently uphold Lloyd's/company service expectations.
Recognise and address customer complaints or expressions of dissatisfaction, ensuring issues are resolved or escalated promptly and in compliance with the company's Complaints Policy and Procedures.
Oversee and coordinate external service providers, monitoring both quality and costs to ensure technical accuracy and adherence to required service levels.
Stay current with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements, taking responsibility for compliance and maintaining strong awareness of control measures.
Continuously build and maintain technical expertise and behavioural competencies through personal development activities.
Foster effective communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders-including Underwriting, Actuarial, Brokers, and Key Accounts-on matters such as claim notifications, progress updates, and insured requirements within agreed SLAs.
Contribute to team development by conducting regular peer reviews and audits.
Experience:
