Job description
The role of the Account Broker is an important role within the Company providing technical, customer relationship and administrative support to nominated Account Executive and the wider Broking Team.
You will be responsible for managing your own workloads and ensuring that you meet broking deadlines agreed with the Account Executives to ensure that renewal and new business targets are met.
You will ensure that you develop strong relationships with our insurers, understand their individual appetite and, in accordance with the company placement strategy, work with insurers to provide good outcomes for the insurer, client and the business. You will be expected to work cooperatively and efficiently with all colleagues both within the Broking, Servicing and Claims areas to ensure effective achievement of overall company objectives.
Knowledge Required
* Understanding of Insurer systems, products and working practices.
* Awareness of available insurers/markets.
* Financial Crime, Anti Bribery and Corruption Act Awareness. * FCA and ICOB Rules Awareness.
* Knowledge of FCA complaints procedure.
* Detailed knowledge of commercial classes of Insurance
