A leading London Market insurance firm is looking to hire a Reporting Manager to lead and manage their newly formed Development Reporting Team. The successful candidate will oversee improving efficiency and functionality in data & reporting. You will resolve issues and improve documentation for the Production Reporting Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee, lead and manage the Development Reporting Team, managing capacity, prioritisation, and traditional line management responsibilities.
• Planning the future capacity requirements of the Production Reporting Team to support the growth of the business.
• Ensure that the skills and knowledge of the team are being continually developed, with focus on both business and technology.
• Act as the key point of escalation for the Development Reporting team, helping the team deal with queries that arise from the work they are delivering.
• Act as a technical point of escalation for the Production Reporting team
• Ensure that you understand the technology that the Production Reporting Team and Development Reporting Team are using.

Key Requirements:

• Experience managing others is required.
• Experience regularly communication to senior management is required.
• Experience using Python & SQL in a commercial environment.
• Extensive experience working in data or technology in the Insurance industry, with an understanding of the business of general insurance as well as the technical knowledge.
• Experience managing conflicting priorities.
• Experience teaching others, handing over processes and managing projects.
• Experience creating and reviewing process documentation.
• Experience in data/reporting/coding related roles
