HFG are currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Wordings Specialist to join their growing team.
 
My client is looking for someone with Wordings experience within the London Market, they cover a range of lines of business including but not limited to Property, Casualty, Financial Lines, PV/Terrorism, Marine & Energy. They are looking for someone with 2+ years within a similar role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with underwriters to assist in addressing coverage and regulatory issues during the risk placement process.
 - Up-keeping and enhancing our internal wording resources and databases.
 - Enhancing the technical expertise of our underwriters through training and development on contractual matters.
 - Enforcing our underwriting standards and controls when finalising contracts.
 - Representing the company in the market to offer solutions for new risks and legal developments.
 - Embracing a diverse international portfolio, working closely with colleagues in Europe and the USA for a varied workload.
 
What is Needed:
- Experience in the Lloyd's market, including exposure to either Open Market or DA business.
 - Experience in drafting contracts with a keen eye for detail.
 - A deep understanding of insurance products and their value to customers from a commercial perspective.
 - The confidence to make coverage decisions, articulate the reasoning behind them, and assess the significance of technical details.
 - Proficiency in advanced MS Word and document formatting.
 - Ability to excel both independently and as part of a team.
