Senior Actuary - Portfolio Analytics | London Market

We've partnered with a leading specialty insurer on a Senior Actuary hire into their Portfolio Analytics team.

This is a genuinely broad role with exposure across the Syndicate, working closely with Underwriting, Pricing, Reserving, Capital, Data and senior leadership. The focus is on using actuarial insight, data and technology to improve portfolio performance and support better underwriting decisions.

You'll have the opportunity to lead on cross-class analytics and pricing transformation, develop and embed pricing capabilities, and contribute to the wider analytics strategy and roadmap.

We're looking for:

• FIA qualified (or equivalent)
  * Strong Lloyd's/London Marketexperience
  * Pricing experience, ideally with exposure to pricing transformation
  * Experience developing pricing models and an understanding of reserving techniques
  * Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
  * Python, HX, Power BI or Databricks exposure is advantageous, but not essential

This would suit someone looking for broader exposure than a traditional pricing role, with the opportunity to work across classes, influence underwriting strategy and take ownership of high-profile analytics projects.
